# Generate a new parallax background (costs 5 credits)

`POST /v1/parallax`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sprixen.com`
- URL: `https://api.sprixen.com/v1/parallax`
- Auth: `bearer` (a scheme the document does not define)

## Request body

- CreateParallaxDto
  - `prompt` string, required: Scene description for the parallax background. Max 6000 characters.
  - `name` string: Display name for the background
  - `artStyle` string: Art style to use for generation
  - `layerCount` number: Number of parallax layers to generate (3-5)

## Response `201`

Generation job created and queued

## Other responses

- `400`: Insufficient credits or too many active generations
- `401`: Unauthorized
