# Poll an animation

`GET /api/animations/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.sprite-ai.art`
- URL: `https://www.sprite-ai.art/api/animations/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns processing with an optional progress (0 to 1) while running. When completed, the sprite sheet is in image.spritesheetBase64. Failed jobs are refunded automatically.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The job status, or the finished sprite sheet.

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key is revoked or expired.
- `404`: Not found, or not yours.
- `429`: Rate limited. Retry after the Retry-After header.
