# Create cost center

`POST /v2/companies/{companyId}/cost-centers`

## Request

This endpoint creates a cost center.

## Request body

- CreateCostCenterRequest: Request body for cost center create API.
  - `name` string, required
  - `numberOfEmployees` integer
  - `externalId` string

## Response `201`

OK

- EntityId: Identifier of an object
  - `id` string, uuid, required
