# Depth Charts

`GET /v3/mlb/projections/{format}/DepthCharts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sportsdata.io`
- URL: `https://api.sportsdata.io/v3/mlb/projections/{format}/DepthCharts`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key`
  - API key in query parameter `key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/sportsdata/apis/mlb-api/docs/v3/mlb/projections/:format/DepthCharts/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Returns Depth Charts for all active MLB teams.

- `format` 'JSON' | 'XML', required

## Response `200`

Success

- TeamDepthChart[]
  - `DepthCharts` DepthChart[]: List of Depth Chart Records for Team
    - `DepthChartID` integer: The unique ID of the Depth Chard record
    - `TeamID` integer: The team's unique TeamID as assigned by SportsDataIO
    - `PlayerID` integer, nullable: The player's unique PlayerID as assigned by SportsDataIO. Note: this ID will stay with the player throughout their MLB career
    - `Name` string, nullable: Player's full name
    - `PositionCategory` string, nullable: The player's position category. Possible values: DH; IF; OF; P; PH; PR
    - `Position` string, nullable: Player's position in the depth chart. Note: a player can be listed in multiple positions of the depth chart
    - `DepthOrder` integer, nullable: The Depth Chart order of the player and where they are placed in the depth chart
    - `Updated` string, nullable: The date and time of the last update made to this depth chart (in US Eastern Time)
  - `TeamID` integer: The team's unique TeamID as assigned by SportsDataIO

## Other responses
