# Check credit balance and usage

`GET /balance`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://spoken.md`
- URL: `https://spoken.md/balance`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Returns current credit balance, account email, top-up links, and recent usage history. Use this to check remaining credits before or after fetching transcripts.
