# Create email_design content from HTML or ZIP file

`POST /v1/create-email-design`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.splio.com/content`
- URL: `https://api.splio.com/content/v1/create-email-design`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create email_design content from HTML or ZIP file and return the UUID of the created content.

**ZIP File Structure:**
When uploading a ZIP file, it must follow this structure:

design.zip
├── index.html or mail.html         (required - main HTML file)
└── images/             (optional - image assets folder)
    ├── logo.png
    ├── banner.jpg
    └── icon.gif
```

**Supported image formats:** PNG, JPG, JPEG, AVIF, GIF, JFIF, WEBP, WOFF

**Requirements:**
- ZIP file must contain `index.html` at the root level
- All images should be placed in the `images/` folder or directly on the root level `./`
- Image references in HTML should use relative paths: `images/filename.ext`

## Request body `multipart/form-data`

  - `name` string, required: Content name
  - `language` 'ar' | 'ca' | 'zh' | 'tc' | 'cz' | 'nl' | 'en' | 'fr' | 'de' | 'gr' | 'it' | 'jp' | 'kr' | 'pl' | 'br' | 'ru' | 'es' | 'tr' | 'other', required: Content language
  - `sender_name` string, required: Email sender name
  - `subject` string, required: Email subject
  - `sender_email` string, required: Email sender email
  - `reply_to` string: Email reply address
  - `file_type` 'html' | 'zip', required: File type: html or zip
  - `disable_utm_tracking` 'true' | 'false': Optional flag to disable UTM tracking. Set to the string "true" to disable.
