# Delete a data reaction

`DELETE /v1/orgs/{orgId}/projects/{projectId}/reactions/{alertId}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The org is `orgId` in the path. Soft-deletes a data reaction and tears down its Drasi query. Requires `reactions:write`.

- `X-Org-Name` string

## Response `200`

Reaction deleted

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid project or reaction ID. orgId is not a valid org id (`invalid_org_id`), or X-Org-Name does not name that org (`org_path_mismatch`).
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Insufficient scope. The caller is not a member of the org (`org_forbidden`). A machine credential named a different org (`org_assertion_mismatch`). The org is deleted (`org_deleted`).
- `404`: Project or reaction not found
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Failed to delete reaction
