# Get a verification method

`GET /identifiers/{did}/verification-methods/{methodId}`

Returns one verification method by fragment or absolute DID URL. The
path segment is percent-decoded before lookup.

## Parameters

- `./common-components.yml#/components/parameters/CorrelationId` — unresolved $ref

## Response `200`

Verification method retrieved successfully.
