# Get the resolved DID document

`GET /identifiers/{did}/document`

Returns the DID document for the given DID. For MANAGED DIDs the document is
recomposed from the persisted graph; for EXTERNAL DIDs it is served from the IDK
CacheService and re-resolved on cache miss.

## Parameters

- `./common-components.yml#/components/parameters/CorrelationId` — unresolved $ref

## Response `200`

DID document retrieved successfully.
