# Activate a device

`PATCH /v1/teams/members/email/{email}/activate-device`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.speedify.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP basic

Activate a device for a team member using an activation code.

## Path parameters

- `email` string, email, required

## Request body

- object
  - `activationCode` string, required: The activation code for the device

## Response `200`

Device activated successfully

- ActivateDeviceResponse
  - `deviceUUID` string: UUID of the activated device

## Other responses

- `400`: Request validation failed
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Valid API key but insufficient permissions
- `404`: Member not found
- `500`: Internal server error
