# Create a snapshot

`POST /accounts/{account_id}/snapshots`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.speedcurve.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.speedcurve.com/v2/accounts/{account_id}/snapshots`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Add a set of tests for one or multiple sites, or custom URL(s)

## Path parameters

- `account_id` integer, required

## Request body

  - `sites` object[]: Site(s) to create snapshots for
    - `site_id` integer: Site ID
    - `urls` object[]
      - `url_id` integer: URL ID
  - `urls` object[]
    - `url` string: Full URL (starting with http)
    - `script` string: Synthetic test script for the URL (see https://support.speedcurve.com/docs/synthetic-test-scripts)
    - `auth` object
      - `username` string: HTTP Basic auth username
      - `password` string: HTTP Basic auth password
  - `regions` object[]
    - `region_id` string: Region (test location) ID (see https://support.speedcurve.com/docs/test-agent-locations)
  - `test_profiles` object[]
    - `name` string: Test profile (browser) name (from the list of available profiles including custom browsers, see https://support.speedcurve.com/docs/browsers-and-devices#default-browsers)
  - `test_runs` integer: Number of runs (checks) for each test (default 3; max 10)
  - `deploy` object
    - `name` string: Deployment name
    - `description` string: Deployment description
    - `environment_name` string: Name of environment if different from the original site
    - `environment_origin` string: Origin if different from the original site in settings (all URLs origin will be replaced with provided)
  - `force` boolean: Skip the testing in progress check for the site(s) (accepts true/false or 1/0), default `false`
