# Cancel scheduled vault deletion

`POST /vaults/{id}/deletion/cancel`

A company administrator or owner cancels the deletion currently shown in vault settings before its deadline. The matching schedule ID is required so a stale client cannot cancel a newer deletion request. Restores the vault and permits normal access again; it does not restore content after permanent cleanup begins.

Deletion canceled; the response data contains the restored vault.

## Other responses

- `400`: VALIDATION_ERROR — deletion_schedule_id is missing or malformed.
- `403`: FORBIDDEN — the caller is not a company administrator or owner.
- `404`: NOT_FOUND — no such vault on this account.
- `409`: VAULT_DELETION_NOT_CANCELLABLE — the schedule changed or its deadline has passed; CONFLICT — the vault changed concurrently.
