# List satellite data

`GET /satellites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://spacenexus.us/api/v1`
- URL: `https://spacenexus.us/api/v1/satellites`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Retrieve satellite catalog data. Default limit is 50 (max 200). Supports filtering by orbit type, operator, and operational status.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer
- `orbitType` 'LEO' | 'MEO' | 'GEO' | 'HEO' | 'SSO' | 'Polar'
- `operator` string
- `status` 'active' | 'inactive' | 'deorbited'

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Professional plan required: a free key gets SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
