# Update the authenticated user's privacy settings

`PATCH /v1/me/privacy`

## Request

Applies the given privacy choices and returns the full result. Omitted fields are left alone. Read the current settings from `GET /v1/me`. Changes are recorded in the account activity log.

## Request body

- object: Fields to change; omitted fields are left alone.
  - `analyticsOptOut` boolean: Opt out of product analytics. When true, no analytics events are recorded for this account, in the browser or server-side.
  - `advertisingOptOut` boolean: Do-not-sell/share election (CCPA). When true, the account is excluded from any advertising or audience use.
