# Save a registrant contact

`POST /v1/domains/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.spacefast.com`
- URL: `https://api.spacefast.com/v1/domains/contacts`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://api.spacefast.com/v1/auth/oauth2/authorize`, token URL `https://api.spacefast.com/v1/auth/oauth2/token`; client credentials, token URL `https://api.spacefast.com/v1/auth/oauth2/token`, scopes: `domains:write`)

Saves the person or organization a domain is registered to. Ask the user for these details; never invent them. Pass its id as `contactId` to purchaseDomain. One contact per team is usually enough; reuse it from listDomainContacts.
