# Start adding an email address

`POST /v1/auth/emails`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.spacefast.com`
- URL: `https://api.spacefast.com/v1/auth/emails`
- Auth: API key in cookie `__Host-better-auth.session_token`

Mails a six-digit confirmation code to the address. The address joins the account only once that code is confirmed. Needs a recent identity confirmation.
