# Get your account

`GET /account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sovrn.com/sovrnos/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sovrn.com/sovrnos/v1/account`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

What applies to your own deal requests because of your account. `commercial.takeRate.editable` says whether you may choose `commercial.takeRate`; when it is `false`, your take rate is fixed and `commercial.takeRate.value` is the value to send.

## Response `200`

What applies to your deal requests.

- Account
  - `commercial` object, required
    - `takeRate` union, required: Whether you may choose `commercial.takeRate` on your deal requests, and the value to send when you may not.
      - object
        - `editable` true, required: You choose `commercial.takeRate` on each deal request.
      - object
        - `editable` false, required: Your account's take rate is fixed, so `commercial.takeRate` is not yours to choose.
        - `value` number, required: The take rate your account is fixed at, as a decimal fraction (for example, `0.05` = 5%). Send it as `commercial.takeRate`.

## Other responses

- `401`: The API key was missing or not accepted. **Not JSON**: a bare `text/plain` string: `api key not provided`, `invalid api key`, or `invalid api key syntax`.
- `403`: The key is valid but not permitted. `{"message": "Insufficient scope"}`: a read-only key sent a write (`POST` or `PATCH`). It is checked before the body is validated, even with `?dryRun=true`. `{"message": "Partner not authorized for this API"}`: the account is not enabled for this API. It is checked after the request is validated, so an invalid request gets its `400` first.
