# Resolve a top-marking code to candidate parts

`GET /parts/marking/{code}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.source.parts/v1`
- URL: `https://api.source.parts/v1/parts/marking/{code}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Inverse of /parts/{sku}/marking. Markings are not unique, so the response is ranked candidates, each labeled with the lane that matched: catalog (stored marking equals the code), identified (prior identify.parts recognitions of this code), or mpn (MPN starts or ends with the code).
