# Send a test event

`POST /v1/webhooks/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sonovault.now`
- URL: `https://api.sonovault.now/v1/webhooks/{id}/test`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deliver a sample `stream.play.started` event to the endpoint right now (signed exactly like a real event) and report the result.

- object
  - `delivered` boolean, required: `true` when your endpoint answered with a 2xx.
  - `response_status` integer, nullable, required: The HTTP status your endpoint returned. `null` when the request never completed.
  - `error` string, nullable, required: Why the test delivery failed. `null` on success.
