# A11Y Alt Text

`GET /v1/projects/{project_id}/a11y/alt-text`

Image alt-text coverage per language (spec §4.3 + §1.3).

Eligible = keys of type `image` (`base_role = alt_text`). This endpoint reads
the BASE value in `translations`, NOT `translation_overrides` — the alt of an
image IS its translated base value. That is the structural difference with
screen-reader and plain-language, hence `surface: null`.
`missing_source_alt` = images with no alt in the SOURCE language.
