# Get Agent

`GET /v1/agents/{agent_id}`

## Request

Content — authenticated AND on a paid plan.

Takes an API KEY as well as a browser session. This is the product's nominal
path, not an edge case: the CLI authenticates with `snt_live_...`, and
`agents add` is the whole reason the content moved to the server. Requiring
a user session made the endpoint unreachable by the client it exists for.

`is_staff` BYPASSES the plan gate: the gate is a commercial boundary for
customers ACQUIRING agents, while staff editing is an internal operation on
our own product. A right to write that did not imply a right to read would be
incoherent.
