# Upload Image

`POST /api/apps/{name}/images`

## Request

Upload a binary image and commit it to ``develop``.

Mirrors the snapshot flow: the image is written into a fresh isolated clone
of ``develop`` and committed+pushed in one atomic step — it never touches the
shared per-app workspace, so concurrent uploads/edits can't collide and the
tree can't be left on the wrong branch. Path comes from the ticket (ticket
flow) or the ``path`` form field (bearer flow); the commit message comes from
the ticket or the ``message`` form field, defaulting to ``"Add image
<path>"``. Rejects non-image extensions and images over 5 MiB. Path safety
(no ``..`` / ``.git/`` / absolute) is enforced by the workspace writer.
