# Delete repository label (beta)

`DELETE /orgs/{org_slug}/repos/labels/{label_id}`

Delete a repository label and all of its associations (repositories, security policy, license policy, etc.).

This endpoint consumes 1 unit of your quota.

This endpoint requires the following org token scopes:
- repo-label:delete

## Path parameters

- `org_slug` string, required
- `label_id` string, required

## Response `200`

- `400` — Bad request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Insufficient max_quota for API method
- `404` — Resource not found
