# Search Posts

`GET /v1/scrape/linkedin/search/posts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sociavault.com`
- URL: `https://api.sociavault.com/v1/scrape/linkedin/search/posts`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Search for public LinkedIn posts by keyword. Uses Google Search to find indexed posts, then scrapes the public LinkedIn pages. Use the `cursor` from each response to page through more results.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required
- `date_posted` 'last-hour' | 'last-day' | 'last-week' | 'last-month' | 'last-year'
- `cursor` integer

Successful response
**Key Response Fields:**
- `data.query`: The search term that was run
- `data.posts[n].url`: Permalink to the post — the `/posts/<slug>_` segment identifies the author
- `data.posts[n].name`: Post title or opening line
- `data.posts[n].description`: Full post body text
- `data.posts[n].datePublished`: ISO timestamp of publication
- `data.posts[n].likeCount`: Total reactions on the post
- `data.posts[n].commentCount`: Total comment count
- `data.posts[n].author.name`: Author's full name
- `data.posts[n].author.url`: Author's LinkedIn profile URL
- `data.posts[n].author.followers`: Author's follower count
- `data.posts[n].image`: Primary image attached to the post
- `data.posts[n].images`: All images attached to the post
- `data.posts[n].transcript`: Video transcript, present only on video posts
- `data.posts[n].comments`: Public comments, when LinkedIn exposes them
- `data.cursor`: Pass back as `cursor` for the next page (max 11)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Invalid parameters or missing required fields
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Payment Required - Insufficient credits
