# Get Credits Balance

`GET /v1/credits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sociavault.com`
- URL: `https://api.sociavault.com/v1/credits`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns the current credit balance and subscription status for the authenticated user

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `credits` integer, required: Remaining credits available
  - `subscriptionStatus` 'active' | 'inactive' | 'cancelled' | 'past_due', required: Current subscription status
  - `subscriptionId` string, nullable: Subscription ID if active

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: User not found
- `500`: Server error
