# Reschedule an existing post

`PATCH /posts/{id}/schedule`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://socialrobot.io/api/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Moves an existing draft or scheduled post to a new future publication date.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The post ID returned when the post was created

## Request body

- object
  - `scheduledFor` string, required: A future ISO 8601 date-time with timezone offset or Z. The worker publishes at this absolute instant.

## Response `200`

Post rescheduled successfully

- `400`: Invalid request data
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Post not found
- `500`: Internal server error
