# Create a new team.

`POST /teams`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://socialbu.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://socialbu.com/api/v1/teams`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new team with the specified accounts and members. Each member can be assigned granular permissions controlling what they can do within the team.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Name of the team.
  - `ai_context` string, nullable: Optional AI context for this team, such as brand voice, audience, products, or content goals. Used only as private background context for SocialBu AI features.
  - `accounts` object[], required
    - `id` integer: ID of the social media account to be included in the team.
  - `members` object[]
    - `id` integer: ID of the member to be added to the team.
    - `permissions` unknown[]: Permissions assigned to the member.
      - unknown
  - `requires_content_approval` boolean: True if content requires approval before publishing.

## Response `200`

successful operation

- object
  - `success` boolean: True if the team was created.
  - `message` string: Message indicating the team was created successfully.

## Other responses

- `405`: Invalid input
