# Save the account the user picked

`PUT /me/selected-account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.sociahive.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.sociahive.com/api/v1/me/selected-account`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `/api/oauth/authorize`, token URL `/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `accounts:write`)

Records the account the user picked in a client switcher, so a new browser, device or install opens on it. The client keeps its own choice; this only records it. 403 feature_disabled while the feature is off for the user; 404 when the account is not the user's or is disconnected.

- `400`: Bad request — invalid parameters
