# Resorts opening on a given date

`GET /api/v1/season-openings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.snowsure.ai`
- URL: `https://www.snowsure.ai/api/v1/season-openings`
- Auth: none declared

Resorts whose *effective* season opening date falls on the given calendar day — answers "what opens today?" without conflating it with "everyone currently open". The effective date is the operator-confirmed actual opening when set, otherwise the re-anchored scheduled date; `confirmedByOperator` tells you which.

Out of season this correctly returns an empty `data` array rather than an error.

## Query parameters

- `region` 'europe' | 'north-america' | 'asia' | 'oceania' | 'south-america' | 'africa' | 'alps' | 'rockies' | 'japan'
