# Per-resort ML extended outlook (days 8–14) — Beta, currently unavailable

SnowSure ML forecast for days 8–14, derived from `weather_snapshots.ml_v1`. Beta, and deliberately kept separate from the 7-model blend — it is never mixed into forecast averages.

⚠️ Currently returns 404 for every resort. ML output is suppressed on all user-facing surfaces by a kill switch enabled 22 Jun 2026, after the model produced impossible forecasts (near-0cm totals while the weather models showed 10–27cm). The route is deployed and stable; only the data is withheld, pending model retraining and re-validation against the corrected evaluation gate. The `/api/v1/leaderboards/extended-outlook` companion is affected by the same suppression — it returns 200 with `sampleSize: 0` because a list endpoint has an empty result to return, not because per-resort data exists.

Treat a 404 here as "not available yet", not as an unknown resort. Clients should degrade gracefully and must not surface the absence as a resort data error.

## Other responses
