# Find new backlink prospects

`POST /v3/outreach/discover/run`

Search for pages that mention this brand or its competitors and turn them into prospects worth pitching for a backlink. Takes no arguments: the search plan is built from the team's brand name and website, both of which must be set in settings first. Runs in the background - poll outreach_prospects until discoveryStatus, mentionCheckStatus and relationshipSweepStatus are idle. Costs credits, and a run already in flight is not charged twice.
