# Download a converted output file

`GET /api/convert/download/{assetId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://snapwonders.com`
- URL: `https://snapwonders.com/api/convert/download/{assetId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Downloads a single converted output file. The item must belong to a session created with the same `X-Api-Key`. Available only once the item `status` is `complete`. **Authentication:** `X-Api-Key` header required.

## Path parameters

- `assetId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

File download — `Content-Disposition: attachment`

## Other responses

- `401`: Not authenticated. `error` names the exact cause: `missing_api_key`, `malformed_api_key`, `invalid_api_key` (key unknown/revoked/expired), or — when the key itself is valid — `account_not_verified` / `account_inactive`.
- `403`: Item does not belong to an API session owned by this key
- `404`: Item not found, not yet complete, or output record missing
- `410`: Session expired
