# Retrieve a label

`GET /v1/inboxes/{inbox_id}/labels/{label_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://smtpfa.st/api`
- URL: `https://smtpfa.st/api/v1/inboxes/{inbox_id}/labels/{label_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

One label of the inbox, in the same shape as the list items. 404 when the label belongs to another inbox. Not in Resend. Requires the inbound:read scope.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden - domain not verified or insufficient permissions
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - retry after the period indicated in the Retry-After header
- `500`: Internal server error
