# Revoke API key

`DELETE /v1/api-keys/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://smtpfa.st/api`
- URL: `https://smtpfa.st/api/v1/api-keys/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently revoke an API key. Any requests using this key will be rejected immediately.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

API key revoked

- object
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string, required: "Connected app disconnected" for a connected app's key

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - retry after the period indicated in the Retry-After header
- `500`: Internal server error
