# Streams a previously uploaded media file directly from Meta.

`GET /whatsapp/v1/media/{mediaId}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://rest.smsportal.com`

- Auth: HTTP basic

Example request:
            
    GET /whatsapp/v1/media/4000240/download

## Path parameters

- `mediaId` integer, required

## Response `200`

The media file was found and is returned as a binary stream

## Other responses

- `401`: The request was not properly authorized
- `404`: No media was found for the given ID, or the upload has not completed
- `500`: Something unexpected went wrong, please try again
