# Send a campaign to every active contact in a list

`POST /send-sms-to-list/`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au`
- URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au/send-sms-to-list/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `key`
  - HTTP basic

Creates a campaign (does not send directly). Shares the web UI's campaign validation and list-ownership rules. At most 10 non-blank message variations; the target list must not be readonly and must contain at least one contact

## Query parameters

- `key` string, required

## Response `200`

Campaign created

  - `success` boolean
  - `campaignId` integer

## Other responses

- `401`: VALIDATION_FAILED - body carries a plural errors array only, no singular error key
- `405`: Method not allowed - POST only
