# Look up a single message by id

`GET /get-sms/`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au`
- URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au/get-sms/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `key`
  - HTTP basic

Single-recipient messages return a flat object. Multi-recipient messages omit the top-level dest/dlr/dlrdate and return a recipients array (one element per recipient) instead

- MessageDetail: Single-recipient messages return dest/dlr/dlrdate at the top level. Multi-recipient messages omit those three keys and return a recipients array instead

## Other responses

- `401`: FIELD_EMPTY
- `404`: Message not found or not owned
