# Cancel a campaign before it starts sending

`POST /cancel-campaign/`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au`
- URL: `http://api.smsfusion.com.au/cancel-campaign/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `key`
  - HTTP basic

Only while campaign status is pending or review; refuses cleanly once sending has started. Status-gated, so there is no race window. Not per-message cancellation - see cancel-sms/

## Query parameters

- `key` string, required
- `campaign` integer, required

## Response `200`

Campaign cancelled

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `campaignId` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: CANCEL_FAILED - campaign not found (or not owned), or not cancellable in its current status
- `405`: Method not allowed - POST only (checked before auth on this endpoint)
