# Get caller identity.

`GET /v1/me`

## Request

Returns the caller's subject, tenant, scopes, and registry namespace. Requires any valid API key; no specific scope.

## Response `200`

Caller identity: subject, tenant, scopes, and the registry namespace it may push to

- MeResponse: Identity self-discovery (`GET /v1/me`): who the caller is and where they may push registry artifacts. Requires authentication but NO scopes — any identity may ask who it is. This is how the CLI resolves a bare `myapp:v1` push reference to `tenants/<tenantId>/myapp:v1`.
  - `registryNamespace` string, nullable: The OCI repository namespace this identity may push to (`tenants/<tenantId>`), ready to prefix onto a repo name.
  - `scopes` string[], required: Scopes this identity holds.
  - `subject` string, required: Acting principal: the JWT subject or the API key id.
  - `tenantId` string, nullable: Canonical tenant id, if the identity is tenant-scoped. `None` for admin keys and identities without a provisioned tenant.
  - `tenantName` string, nullable: Tenant display name (the IdP email/name captured at provisioning).
  - `tenantStatus` string, nullable: Tenant status (`active`, `waitlisted`, `suspended`).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Key lacks the required scope
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header
- `500`: Internal error
