# Bridge to a guest port.

`GET /v1/machines/{id}/connect/{port}`

Forward an HTTP request (any method, body included, up to 10 MiB) or a WebSocket upgrade to a published guest port. Append a path after the port to reach a subpath: `/v1/machines/{id}/connect/{port}/{rest}`.

- `port` integer, required

## Response `200`

The guest service's response, status and body passed through

## Other responses

- `101`: Switching to the machine's TCP bridge
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Machine or published port not found
- `429`: Rate limited; retry after the Retry-After header
- `500`: Internal error
- `503`: Machine is not running
