# Get usage charge permission

`GET /subscriptions/usages/{usageId}/charge-permission`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smokeball.com`
- URL: `https://api.smokeball.com/subscriptions/usages/{usageId}/charge-permission`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Determines whether the current user is authorized to create usage charges for the usage product.
This does not evaluate subscription status, payment method, price, or other create-charge validation.

## Path parameters

- `usageId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

When the usage product exists.

- UsageChargePermission: The current user's ability to create a charge for a usage product.
  - `canCreateUsageCharge` boolean: Whether the current user is authorized to create a usage charge for the product.

## Other responses

- `404`: When the usage product does not exist.
