# Resend an invitation

`POST /invitations/{id}/resend`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smokeball.com`
- URL: `https://api.smokeball.com/invitations/{id}/resend`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Sends no email — the authenticated client delivers the invitation link itself. Resending is
asynchronous: once applied, a pending or expired invitation reads Pending and expires seven days later.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `202`

When the request is accepted. Returns a hypermedia 'Link' object of the resent invitation.

## Other responses

- `400`: When the invitation was already accepted or was cancelled ('Invitation is no longer valid').
- `403`: When the authenticated client lacks the `invitations/write` scope or carries no firm account (bodyless).
- `404`: When no invitation with the specified id exists for this account ('Invitation not found').
