# Delete event

`DELETE /events/{eventId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smokeball.com`
- URL: `https://api.smokeball.com/events/{eventId}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Deletes a specified event.

## Path parameters

- `eventId` string, required

## Response `202`

When request is accepted. Returns a hypermedia 'Link' object of the event to be deleted.

  - `method` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `404`: When 'Event' does not exist.
