# Create trigger instance

`POST /connect/{namespace}/{connectionId}/.triggers/{triggerName}`

Create a trigger instance for a connection using the trigger's declared params.

Trigger instance created

- TriggerInstance
  - `id` string, required: Stable trigger instance id generated by Smithery
  - `name` string, required: Trigger name
  - `connection_id` string, required: Connection id the trigger belongs to
  - `params` LooseObject, required
  - `created_at` string, required: ISO 8601 timestamp

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `404`: Connection or trigger not found
