# A visitor asked for a person, or the chatbot handed the conversation over. The event names the request; read it with the handover requests endpoint.

`POST handover.requested` (webhook)

Sent as POST to the account webhook URL. Headers: X-Smartwebchat-Event, X-Smartwebchat-Timestamp, X-Smartwebchat-Signature (HMAC over timestamp and body). For backward compatibility, data carries the full request under data.handoverRequest (the example is shortened); the feed carries only handoverRequestId.
