# List Scenes

`GET /scenes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartthings.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.smartthings.com/v1/scenes`

  - Scopes: `r:scenes:*`

Get a list of Scenes for a specified user.
If no locationId is sent, all scenes for all available locations will be returned.

    - `sceneName` string: The user-defined name of the Scene
    - `sceneIcon` string: The name of the icon
    - `sceneColor` string: The color of the icon
    - `locationId` string, ^(?:([0-9a-fA-F]{32})|([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}))$: Location of the Scene
    - `createdBy` string, ^(?:([0-9a-fA-F]{32})|([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}))$: The unique identifier of the user that created the scene
    - `createdDate` string, date-time: The date the scene was created
    - `lastUpdatedDate` string, date-time: The date the scene was last updated
    - `lastExecutedDate` string, date-time: The date the scene was last executed
    - `editable` boolean: Whether or not this scene can be edited by the logged in user using the version of the app that made the request
    - `apiVersion` string
  - `_links` Links
    - `next` Link
      - `href` string: An absolute URL linking to a resource.
    - `previous` Link
      - `href` string: An absolute URL linking to a resource.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Too many requests
- `default`: Unexpected error
