# Assign driver to channel

`POST /distchannels/{channelId}/drivers`

Assign a specific driver and version to a channel

## Request body

- DriverRevision
  - `driverId` string, ^[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$: The ID of the Sprocket driver
  - `version` string: The version of the driver revision being returned

- DriverChannel
  - `channelId` string, uuid: The identifier of the Sprocket channel
  - `driverId` string, ^[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$: The ID of the Sprocket driver
  - `version` string: The version of the driver revision being returned
  - `createdDate` string: The ISO-8601 formatted timestamp when the channel was created
  - `lastModifiedDate` string: The ISO-8601 formatted timestamp when the channel was last modified
