# Get the Full Status of a Device

`GET /devices/{deviceId}/status`

## Request

Get the current status of all of a Device component's attributes.

The results may be filtered if the requester only has permission to
view a subset of the Device's components or capabilities.

If the OAuth token used in this API call is for a SmartApp that created the Device, it implicitly has permission for this API.

DEPRECATION NOTICE: healthState is no longer included in response.

## Response `200`

successful return of current status of device attributes

- DeviceStatus: The status of a device.
  - `components` object: A map of componentId to component status.
  - `healthState` object
    - `state` 'ONLINE' | 'OFFLINE': Current state of the device
    - `lastUpdatedDate` string, date-time: Last reported date/time in UTC

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Too many requests
- `default`: Unexpected error
