# Download report file

`GET /files/{reportFileId}/data`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com/reporting-api/v201804`
- URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com/reporting-api/v201804/files/{reportFileId}/data`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://www.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/allow`
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/token` scopes: `reporting_read`
  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`

Use this endpoint to download a specific report file. The response contains report data in CSV format.
### Note
It is not recommended to attempt downloading large report files via Live Docs or Internet Browser. To get a large report file, use command line tools or native HTTP clients.

## Path parameters

- `reportFileId` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response.

## Other responses

- `401`: Returned when a request was not authenticated.
- `403`: Returned when a caller is not authorized to perform the request.
- `404`: Returned when there is no report file with the given ID.
