# Delete a message

`DELETE /messages/shares/{id}`

## Request

  - API key in header `x-smarttoken`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://www.smartrecruiters.com/identity/oauth/allow`

Delete a message with a given id. Deleted message is no longer visible on Hireloop.

## Response `204`

Message successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `403`: No permission to delete a message
- `404`: Message not found
